I, Luvalot, have been supplying the guild with a website and access to a 40man Ventrilo since 2010. I have never asked for anyone to help me with payments and have allowed guildies to use Ventrilo freely. Please help me afford to keep our guilds Vent active. Whatever you can afford to donate towards the guild would be very much appreciated. Thank you for understanding and helping me continue to supply this wonderful service to our guildies.

Omen: A thing or happening to foretell a future event, either good or evil.
We are a casual, fun-loving guild, although we are looking to be a casual by day, raider by night guild. We pride ourselves on strong leadership, group comradely, and respect for one another, while realizing that this is a source of entertainment and relaxation for us all. It’s all about having fun! We foster a general friendly atmosphere as we strive to enjoy and keep entertained by all the World of Warcraft has to offer. We work timelessly to assure our members are successful and meet their personal goals they have while playing; as this leads to the overall success of our guild. Our goal is to maintain ourselves a strong core of members and friends, who are dedicated to having fun, while working as a group. This guild was made to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all who join. |

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING THE GUILD:
GOAL #1: Have fun playing the game. Many players have found themselves burnt out from the game and have even taken “time off” in hope they will come back to it and get pleasure from playing again. This should never be a problem in our guild as long as everyone works together to build a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable atmosphere for every guildy. To do this our guild will do achievement runs, random questing, rep grinding, heroics, raid finder, pet/mount hunting, farming, etc. **Luvalot (GM) is NOT the only guildy who is responsible to make the guild run smooth. If there is something you want to do (certain achievement, heroic, etc) ask the guild to join you. Put things on the calendar (make sure you show up for your own events), because to make this guild run everyone needs to work together and not just rely on one or two people to do everything.
GOAL #2: Have a successful raid group (maybe more than one if guild allows for it). Raid spots are based on if your ready to raid. You do not have a raid spot if you are not able to carry your own weight. No, we are not hard core raiders for sure, but we are fair raiders, and its not fair to a guildy who is pulling awesome dps to cover someone who is not pulling what their gear allows them to. **When 1 raid is full and more guildies are ready to raid then a 2nd group will be formed then maybe even a 3rd** READ RAID RULES FOR GEAR
GOAL #3: Run RBG’s weekly. To do this, we need to learn the battle grounds first. Set up regular battle ground runs and que into them with guildies. Group up with guildies for 2v2, 3v3 and even 5v5 arena’s (can be frustrating at times but is very rewarding in the end). Another fun and good way to master your pvp spec is to duel each other. I (Luv) will set up little pvp brackets and have people duel each other and the winner (best 2 out of 3) goes on to the next bracket until there’s an overall winner who will win an awesome prize (money, mount, pet… something cool). PVP isn’t the main focus of the guild but it is fun and very satisfying.
Only join Omen if you are able to obey the rules set, are ok with helping achieve the 3 Guild Goals and are a helpful person. We do not deal with drama, if you cause any you will not be tolerated and will be removed from the guild at once. Please only join if you are willing to put in the time and effort to help us help you have fun playing the game again. **Even if you are new to WoW, fill free to join as long as you understand we will not hold your hand through everything, but we will help you and guide you through problems you may run across** |

General Rules
1. Have a respectful/positive attitude when online
2. Do not attempt to sell items/services to guild members (trading/giving is acceptable & highly encouraged)
3. If you need something made for yourself do not expect the guildy who is making it for you to supply all/any mats
4. No Drama
5. If you have an alt in a different guild DO NOT use our Guild Vault to obtain items for them (unless they are your “Bank Toon” then its acceptable)
6. Try to keep Guild Chat PG13 (however theres a 18+ channel in vent where you can express your “adult language”)
7. Guild Chat is for everyone to understand & be able to be apart of ( so no “inside jokes”, other languages, or whinning)
8. No spamming Guild Chat
9. Be helpful
10. If you have a problem in guild report to an officer or Luv |
|
Guild Bank Rules
1. If you have an alt in a different guild DO NOT use our bank to obtain items for them (unless they are your “Bank Toon” then its acceptable)
2. Only take items you need & can use now
3. If you want an item in a tab you do not have access to yet ask an officer or Luv to pull it out for you (if they are busy you must wait for them, DO NOT GET PUSHY)
4. Please help replenish the G-Bank with useful items/mats
5. If you’re new to the guild you may be asked to add gold to the G-Bank if asking for a high level mat or epic gear (insures no ninja’s are just joining for items and then “g quitting”) |

Raid Rules
1. Person designated to lead raid needs respect/cooperation (suggestions are welcome)
2. Loot handed out by loot master & will be giving to the player who needs the upgrade the most (no more rolling unless OS) **Or if we have pugs we will /roll for the item (to be fair to them), but I hope if a guildy wins it they will trade it to the guildy who needs it the most.**
3. BOE gear no one in raid needs goes to Guild Bank (no rolls) **Unless there are pugs, then we /roll for BOE and if a guildy wins it I’d hope they would put it in the guild bank**
4. If no one needs the item (and its not BOE) and there is an enchanter in the run, the item is to be disenchanted and placed in the guild bank (if we have pugs then we /roll for the DE and if a guildy wins it I hope they will put it in the guild bank).
5. Be on time & ready to raid or risk losing raid spot for that wk (on time = 10mins early) **If you late or if you miss more than 2 raids a month your raid spot may be given up to a guildy who is more dependable.
6. Constructive criticism only
7. Don’t make raid wait for you after every wipe (hurry back so we can continue)
8. During raid do not answer your phone or go afk except for emergencies (it is not fair to the rest of raid to wait on you before every pull) **Raid Leader will give at least two 10min breaks during raid so please wait for them to "dismiss" everyone before going afk**
9. If you are going to be late for a raid please get a hold of the Raid Leader somehow to inform them why you’re running late & how late you’re running (the group can decided to wait for you or to fill your spot for that week)
10. If an item drops that you want but another guildy needs the upgrade more than you do, no whining if you do not get it
11. If an item drops that you needed but did not get & the next boss drops an item you need you will get it over the other guildy who just received an upgrade from the previous boss
12. If you have not received an upgrade for a while & you’re “up against” someone who has been receiving more upgrades than you have been lately, you will receive the upgrade over them
13. Instead of rolling for an item link in the raid the item you are wearing so everyone can talk about who should receive the loot
14. The Loot Master and Raid Leader will have the final decision on loot, but the raid will be able to vote/speak their mind on who should receive it
15. Do not point fingers if the group isn’t getting a boss right away. Instead explain key points again (in a nice tone) and help everyone understand what the mechanics are. Remember, no matter how great you think you are, how amazing your dps is, how strong your heals are, or even how epic you tank, you will be kicked out of the raid (maybe even the guild) if you start acting like a “know it all, cry baby, sissy girl, wimp” who doesn’t work well with others. So before you start pointing fingers or “calling someone out” think about all the times it was your fault a raid wiped or you didn’t understand fully what you were doing on a boss and then calm the heck down. **Side note** I, Luvalot (GM), am a very nice and caring person BUT if you start being rude and inconsiderate to other guildies I will not be so nice to you… I feel if you want to point fingers towards others I too will start telling you everything you have done wrong, and then maybe even kick you from the vent, raid, and guild.** Work together with your group and stop being the reason its falling apart.
If you do not follow the RAID RULES then this guild is not for you. Please remove yourself (with no hard feelings) and find a raid group that fits your needs. Again, this guild is NOT a hard core raiding guild so do not try to change the guild/raid to fit you; instead if it doesn‘t work for you then please find a guild/raid that does. |
